Plot

Tony is a worried man - Maria’s phone messages have left him in no doubt that she suspects him of murder. He leaves for the factory where he confronts Rosie who admits that Maria has seen the footage of Liam and Carla kissing and that she has been behaving strangely ever since. Knowing he has to act fast, Tony decides to pay Maria a visit.

Steve’s bad boyfriend plan has stepped up a gear. First he walks around the flat smelly, unkempt and unshaven. Then he tells Michelle that he isn’t going to bother with Christmas presents this year. She's not happy and he really thinks that he's done it this time. But Michelle confides in Becky that Steve’s behaviour is upsetting Amy.

Meanwhile, Steve’s plans for Amy’s birthday party get off to a dodgy start when Jesse Chadwick the entertainer turns up - minus his wife, the other half of his double act. He’s clearly not in the mood for entertaining as his wife has run off with someone else.

It’s Tyrone’s birthday and he is miserable without Molly. Pam speaks to her and asks her to stop blaming Tyrone but Molly still can’t find it in her heart to forgive him.

Elsewhere, Hayley suggests to Roy that they host a Christmas lunch for the homeless.
