Plot

Maria is busily making preparations for the wedding and when she pops into the factory to tell Liam about the flowers, she’s furious as Carla interrupts her to draw his attention to the fact that there are mini-bars at the hotel they’re staying at in Birmingham.

There’s an awkward atmosphere at the pub as Michelle waits to hear Ryan’s decision about his biological parents. She's terrified that he'll choose to see Nick and Wendy and prefer them to her and Steve, but lies to him that she won't be upset with his decision and she won't see Alex if it'll upset him. Later, however, when Steve asks Michelle if she wants contact with Alex, she admits she is curious. She’s stuck between fearing she’ll never see Alex again and worrying that if she does, she’ll lose Ryan.

Over at the Platt's, Gail feels awkward when she walks in on David and Tina on their way up to the bedroom and attepts to give an embarrassed David a lesson about precautions.

After a great night out with Lauren, Darryl is smitten, but is hurt when she doesn’t seem to reciprocate, and Kelly is jealous of the money Vicky seems to be making from her knickers party. Kelly asks if she needs any help and is furious when Vicky rejects it.
