Plot

Ashley isn't enjoying his Father's day celebrations due to the tension in his home so decides to visit the the Websters. Once he leaves the house he passes Casey, who is in the phone box on the street. Claire meanwhile is alone in the house when she receives a silent call. Whilst ranting on the phone she hears someone in the garden. Terrified she goes to get Ashley. He investigates the garden only to discover Darryl bunking off work. Claire is convinced it was Casey but Ashley is doubtful leaving the pair divided.

David is still winding up Jason pretending that he is gay. Jason is determined to be matey with him admits to David that he is scared of heights while they are preparing to work on the roof on Jerry's take away. David comes down from the roof and removes the ladders leaving a terrified Jason stranded. A smug David admits to him that he is not gay and refuses to put the ladders back up till Bill arrives.

Elsewhere, Jerry is enjoying his day off until he reads Wilf's obituary in the paper. Wilf explains he did it to help Mel's application to the police.

Eileen gets a visit from Pat at the cab office.
