Picture Segment Description

SCENE

Telly, Baby Bear, and Elmo rush into Hooper's Store to watch the Alphabet Road Show on television. Their excitement only increases when they hear of the next stop the road show will take: Sesame Street!

Almost immediately, host David Letterguy and his crew appear on the street looking for unusual ways of saying the alphabet. Telly and Baby Bear then run off to prepare themselves for their television spots, although Elmo is more reluctant.

Baby Bear goes on the air, and recites the alphabet while waiting for his porridge to cool. It finally does...as soon as he gets to "Z."

Telly's turn is next, and he proceeds in juggling several tasks at once. Elmo still has trouble coming up with an idea, though.

Without skipping a beat, Old MacDonald and his All-Piggy Alphabet Band sing and play the Alphabet Song.

Finally Elmo appears, reciting the alphabet on his tricycle. "The little red guy" steals the show, and makes it on the air!
