Picture Segment Description

Big Bird welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street, and notices Telly (still wearing his cast) packing a suitcase. He's going to a sleepover at Gabi's house with Merry Monster and a few kids. Just to be sure he has everything he needs, he double-checks over all that he packed: his pajamas, his toothbrush, his "blankie," his doll Freddy, and a picture of his mommy. Big Bird points out that now he has to re-pack all those things into the suitcase!
A captain and a first mate think they have planned ahead well for their trip at sea, but they forgot to take in the anchor.

Baby Bear stars in a "steamy" soap opera, "While the Porridge Cools." His porridge is too hot, but he doesn't want Goldilocks to take it, so he decides to stay home instead. Goldilocks shows up anyway, showing Baby Bear that his porridge can be cooled with air, especially if it comes from a Big Bad Wolf.
A sheep sits next to various animals, but only wants to be next to ewe.

A boy hikes up a mountain with his family.
At Gabi's house, Telly and Merry are playing tag, and Gabi and the kids are jumping on the furniture. Luis tries to calm them down by telling them the story of the Three Little Pigs, and explains the difference between reading a story and telling one. Merry points out that a story can also be acted out, citing an example out of the two kids, herself and Telly, who love to play tag ... and resume their game.

Astronaut Prairie Dawn floats on a space shuttle, when Elmo pops up out of nowhere, offering to help her. He soon learns that there is no need for a policeman, a construction worker, or a farmer in space (unless there's a cow).

It's bedtime, but the monsters and kids aren't sleepy yet. Luis tries playing a game with them, where they have to do the opposite of what he and Maria say. Through reverse psychology, they get the rowdy ones into bed. Just as they think they're asleep, Telly asks for a story to be read.

Maria finishes reading a book to the sleepover crowd, pointing out them how important sleep is. She gives Telly his blankie and his doll, and kisses everyone good night. Just as she gets to Merry, she wonders what her monster parents do when they say good night. Merry likes it if they pretend to be chickens, but a scratch behind the ears will do. Just as Maria turns off the light and exits the room, Telly calls her over, unable to sleep.
The word BUS is displayed, followed by a graphic of a school bus leaving.

Maria has tried to get Telly to sleep in as many ways as possible, when Merry suggests a song which she uses to help herself sleep ("My Little Game"). She starts out by singing it softer and softer, but when she gets to the loud part, she wakes up all the other kids! Yet, she points out that it worked on Telly, who's now fast asleep.
Three cannonball men switch spotlights as they dance.
Ernie and Bert: Ernie can't sleep, so Bert tells him to count sheep. Ernie tries to count sheep, but it's dull -- so he starts counting fire engines. The noise from the imaginary fire engine wakes Bert up. Bert says that Ernie's waking up the whole neighborhood, and tells him to count something quieter. Ernie counts balloons -- but the balloon gets bigger and bigger, finally bursting with a huge explosion that wakes Bert up again.

Maria and Luis are relieved that everyone is finally asleep. Luis is about to announce the sponsors, but Telly does it in his sleep (even beating Maria to the "adios" part).
