Plot

Bet calls in Paul Rigby as chairman of the Licenced Victuallers Association. He tells them the licencees are all behind them but doesn't offer any firm help. Alf warns Deirdre she's losing votes. The national papers show an interest in the Rovers. Kimberley shows Curly her bottom drawer. Brenda Taylor presses him on buying a house. The Gilroys are served with a notice of forfeiture by a Mr Barrett - the brewery are repossessing the pub.
