Episode 1364 is the first of two episodes in which C-3PO and R2-D2 from Star Wars visit Sesame Street. The droids returned in Episode 1396.

Noggin originally showed this episode uncut, but later reruns were edited.

Big Bird sees a flying saucer land in the yard behind the courtyard, and two metal men getting out. The adults just think it's his imagination, but are soon shocked when two droids from Star Wars (C-3PO and R2-D2) quickly shuffle (and roll) by.

R2-D2 delivers his message to Oscar -- it's a hologram sent from Lothar the Grouch, billions of miles away. Lothar's message: "Oscar the Grouch, get lost!" Oscar replies, "What do you know? There is intelligent life in outer space."
