The Advanced Power Armor Mk II, also called simply Enclave Power Armor, is a model of Power Armor used exclusively by the Enclave military forces, developed after the Great War. It is composed entirely of lightweight ceramic composites rather than the usual combination of metal and ceramic plates. Its design is substantially different from the earlier model using the same designation. Aesthetically, it bears a strong resemblance to the Midwestern Brotherhood Power Armor.

Statistics

The set consists of two pieces, a suit of body armor and helmet. Like all power armors, Power Armor Training is required to wear it. It carries one less strength bonus than the Capital Wasteland Brotherhood Power Armor , but one less agility hit as well (In other words, +1 Str and -1 Agi instead of +2 Str and -2 Agi). There is also a 5% radiation resistance increase. Enclave Power Armor is also slightly more durable than standard Power Armor, and its condition degrades a bit slower as it takes damage.

Dialogue between Brotherhood of Steel characters indicates that the Enclave's Power Armor is significantly more advanced than the Brotherhood's, with Brotherhood Paladins expressing concern that their standard bullets may not even be able to penetrate it. In actual gameplay, however, Enclave Power Armor is identical to Brotherhood Power Armor in terms of damage resistance.

Appearances

The Advanced Power Armor Mk II appears in Fallout 2 and Fallout 3. Note that its appearance in Fallout 2 is identical to that of the standard Advanced Power Armor, while 'standard' advanced power armor doesn't appear in Fallout 3. In Fallout 3, the appearance of the armor was totally changed, but it is still referred to as "Advanced Power Armor Mk II" in dialogue.
