Emile-A239 is a SPARTAN-III Commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command who served with Noble Team during the Battle of Reach in 2552.^[1] Born in Luxor, Eridanus II in 2523 and conscripted as a part of Alpha Company, Emile is the silent type, letting his actions speak for him.^[2]

Trivia

• The skull on Emile's visor has led to multiple nicknames among the fan community, including "Skully" and "Ghost", due to the similarity with the character Ghost in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
• His knife looks very similar to a Kukri, a knife used by the Gurkhas.
