Elite Force was an elite Imperial contingent under the command of General Tal Ashen during the First Battle of Coruscant that took place late in the Galactic Civil War. The force was tasked with defending the Imperial Palace and was composed of various elite stormtroopers, AT-ATs, AT-STs, and other Imperial units in its ranks. It may have suffered significant losses fighting against New Republic forces led by Rand Talor during the battle.
