Elf warrior: Misc

Up to date as of February 07, 2010

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

This article is about a specific type of attackable monster. For a general article about the Elf race, see Elves.

Elf warriors can be found in Lletya and parts of Tirannwn. They are featured heavily in the Regicide and subsequent quests. They were also seen in the Gnomecopter Tours for free players.

Strengths and weaknesses

Elves have high defence and excellent weapons - the level 108 warriors use the crystal pike (reach of a halberd, speed of a whip), making them difficult, though not impossible to range or mage. Guthans works well here for their weakness is stabbing. It hits more often so it heals you more often. If you do use this method then it is suggested you bring some food at least. Another popular method to kill Elves is to equip a leaf bladed sword and high prayer boosting armour (eg. proselyte) whilst activating the "Protect Melee" prayer (negating all damage). Players can easily recharge their prayer at the nearby altar after a few minutes of fighting, and also take advantage of the elves weakness to stab attacks. The level 90 warriors use crystal bows. Melee is recommended when fighting both types. Killing the elves in Lletya (this requires Mournings End Part 1 to be started) is more convenient than killing those in the Elf Camp as there is a nearby bank and altar, which is upstairs the house where Arianwyn is located. However, only the elves in the Elf Camp drop charms.
