The Eiffel Tower (in French: Tour Eiffel) is a structure on Earth located within the city of Paris, France. The tower was built originally in 1889 for the Centennial Exposition, and was still standing in the late 24th century. At 300 meters high, it was one of the tallest structures in Paris.
The tower is near the Palais de la Concorde, and visible from the Presidential Office. (TOS movie: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country; DS9 episodes: "Homefront", "Paradise Lost") It was also visible from the Café des Artistes in Paris. (TNG episode: "We'll Always Have Paris")

The Eiffel Tower is an iron tower built on the Champ de Mars beside the River Seine in Paris. The tower has become a global icon of France and is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The Parisian landmark is the tallest structure in Paris and one of the most recognized structures in the world and is named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel. 6,719,200 people visited the tower in 2006 and more than 200,000,000 since its construction. This makes the tower the most visited paid monument in the world per year.
Years ago, the alien scientist Brainiac came to Earth and began stealing various famous landmarks, miniaturizing them and placing them in bottle containers for transport on his ship. The Eiffel Tower was just one of many such landmarks. Superman fought with Braniac and succeeded in returning everything to its proper size and location. [1].
Several years later, a gambler named Achille La Heele kidnapped Simon Stagg and forced his employer Metamorpho to commit various crimes for him. One of these crimes involved the literal theft of the Eiffel Tower. [2]
In the second year of his career, Superman brought Lois Lane to the Eiffel Tower on a romantic getaway. This was long before she would discover that Superman was also her co-worker, mild-mannered Clark Kent. [3]
The Eiffel Tower was likely destroyed when it struck an alien ship during an attempted invasion by the Conquernauts of Yoke[4]
