Edian was a dark-skinned male Human and a member of the Bespin Wing Guards.^[1]

Biography

Edian served on Cloud City at the time of the Battle of Hoth. The Sergeant was loyal to Baron Administrator Lando Calrissian and held a measure of disdain for those corrupt Wing Guards who were known to accept bribes.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Edian was played by Quentin Pierre in The Empire Strikes Back, who was also Billy Dee Williams's stand-in for Return of the Jedi. He was known as the "Black Bespin Security Guard" action figure made by Kenner. Edian was the second of two Bespin Security Guard variants. Sergeant Edian was made available in 2009 in the Hasbro line of Star Wars action figures. He is named "Bespin Guard" in the 2005 "Slave I" LEGO model.
