Echon Tarkin was a male Human who was the son of Wilhuff Tarkin and the childhood friend of Celeste Ial.^[1] He joined her on the mission to Voltar in 7 ABY.^[2]

History

Early life

Echon was born on the planet Eriadu in 10 BBY. He befriended Celeste Ial sometime in the early years of his life. After his father's death in 0 BBY he enrolled in the Imperial academy. He was then given command of a group known as the Galactic Guard in 2 ABY. At the Battle of Endor Echon was presumed dead in 4 ABY.^[1]

In 6 ABY he arrived at the planet Cerea and witnessed two bounty hunters chasing a young girl. He attacked and killed one of the hunters. The young girl, Aurea Hali thanked him and then had a vision of him becoming a powerful being. She then joined him.^[3]

Imperial treachery

In 7 ABY, Echon returned to Eriadu and encountered Celeste.^[1] She convinced him to join her on her mission to the planet Voltar. Upon arriving, they were attacked by Volta forces and forced to the surface via escape pod.^[2] Echon suffered a concussion during the escape. They were then captured by Nationalists led by Zak La'Rocha.^[4]

Behind the scenes

Echon Tarkin was created on December 12, 2006 under the name "Echon Kenobi".^[5] He was also the first article author Josh Bender created on the Star Wars Fanon wiki.^[6] During his writing of Imperial Treachery, Josh rebooted the character to better fit to the storyline.^[7].
