History

Mimic

Mimic's reality is not much different than that of Earth-616, except that Mimic's history and origins are completely different (other than minor differences like characters costumes being different). In Mimic's reality his powers were not derived from self experimentation (like that of his Earth-616 counterpart), but mutant in nature. Similar to his Earth-616 counterpart, he learned about his mimicking ability from encountering the original X-Men and mimicking their powers. He later joined the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants of his reality. After a failed mission he was arrested, but after serving his time was offered a position in the X-Men. After joining the team, Mimic became leader rather than the less confident Cyclops
