The dragon in action.

The Dragon is a dragon with an unspecified combat level that features in the Unstable Foundations tutorial quest, which is currently how new players start the game. The Dragon was released with the quest in September 2009, along with the Objectives interface tab. The Dragon is one of only two red dragons accessible to free players, the other being Mr. Mordaut.

During the tutorial, the dragon has an 'attack' option, though players will be stopped if they attempt this. The Dragon is suspected to be dead after the roof in the cellar collapses on top of it.

The current tutorial used in RuneScape is Unstable Foundations. As such, the three-headed Dragon from Learning the Ropes can no longer be accessed by new accounts that are created. Accounts that were created before Unstable Foundations "quest" can still access the dungeon where Sir Vant and the dragon fought in Learning the Ropes. Accounts that completed the Unstable Foundations quest cannot access this dungeon as a message appears saying that the ladder was destroyed.

Sir Vant mentions that this dragon is owned by Roddeck.

The Dragon is the first to use the new Dragon graphical style. Mod Knox confirmed on the forums (16-17-84-59588333) that they are "working on" bringing the other Dragons to this graphical style.
