Dove Delta

World map: Point Lookout
map marker: Dove Delta

The Dove Delta is a location in Point Lookout. It is a series of small sand bars to the south-west of the map.

The islands have a number of "loose dirt mounds", which can be dug up with the use of a Shovel by using the action button. A holotape, titled "For Ozwaldo," is lying on an island with a single tree directly SW of the small dock, just beyond the outstretched right hand of a skeleton (presumably Ozwaldo) along with his shovel.

The note explains where to dig - "on the island with a single tree." In an ironic twist, there are actually two such islands: the one on which the note is found and another directly south of it. On the southern of these islands lies the treasure.

The mound on the southern island-with-one-tree is the only one that contains any treasure, in the form of a footlocker containing a few shotgun shells, 10mm ammo, and 20 Pre-War Money.

A buoy south of the location holds a trunk, and a nearby sunken ship holds a safe with an easy lock in its wheelhouse. The small dock to the north of this area has a medical kit on top and a Very Easy safe tucked under it on the NW side.

Dove Delta only appears in the Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout.

  • Sometimes, the player can't dig into the mounds with the shovel (Xbox 360. Needs confirmation on other platforms)
  • Sometimes, When trying to dig while jumping or running(Not sure witch) The player will fall down like if kocked. You will however stand up when the digging is complete.
