Vhiin Thorla

Dorv'Tilsta, whose nickname was Dorv, was a young Twi'lek child who was born during the years prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars.

Shortly after Dorv turned five years old a wandering Jedi Master named Vhiin Thorla discovered Dorv and approached his parents about their child's Force sensitivity. Master Thorla explained his presence on Ryloth as well as his ongoing work with former slaves, and managed to persuade Dorv's parents to allow him to take on their son as his Padawan learner. Even though Dorv was still a young child, he took Master Thorla's decision to train him very seriously and looked forward to the day when he would be knighted into the Jedi Order. Dorv accompanied Thorla back to The Enclave, a refuge built for former slaves, and studiously began his Jedi studies. Throughout his first days at The Enclave Dorv met many of its residents, including other Twi'lek children, namely Tror, Dath, and Meeva. It was within this time that a group of slavers discovered and attacked The Enclave. During the ensuing fight, Dorv disobeyed his Master's orders to stay hidden, and attempted to help The Enclave's defenders. Nevertheless, Dorv was captured and stunned by an attacking slaver, but in the end was rescued by the two Jedi agents who were at The Enclave meeting with Master Thorla.

During the Great Jedi Purge, Dorv was still living in the Enclave with his Master. Although Thorla felt the deaths of his fellow Jedi during Order 66, he hesitated to leave the Enclave or contact the outside world. However, after two long years, his curiosity got the better of him, and he took his 10 year old Padawan with him on a mission to investigate the Almas Academy. However, all the two Jedi found was a smoking ruin. While probing through the debris, they were discovered by Inquisitor Valin Draco and his Dark Jedi apprentice, Raik Muun. Muun used a T'salak beast to overwhelm Dorv's senses, throwing him into an uncontrolled rage. A slave to the T'salak's dark side influence, Dorv began to attack his own master. Although Thorla did not want to fight against his own Padawan, Draco promised that he would turn the young Twi'lek to the dark side if he refused to fight. Believing that he had no other choice, Thorla reluctantly struck down his own apprentice.
