The Dorgeshuun crossbow can be bought from Nardok in the Dorgeshuun Mines Nardok's Bone Weapons shop after completing the The Lost Tribe quest.

It can fire bolts up to iron and it can also use bone bolts. After completing Death to the Dorgeshuun it is possible to use a special attack called snipe, which increases accuracy on an unsuspecting opponent (If the opponent is not looking your way when you use the special attack) and also lowers the opponent's defence by the amount of damage inflicted.The special attack drains 75% of the special attack bar.

To wield the Dorgeshuun crossbow 28 Ranged is required. This weapon used to fire at a slightly quicker rate than normal crossbows, but due to a hidden update, was reduced to normal crossbow speed. This weapon is very cost effective as it hits higher than adamant arrows and the bolts only cost 4 coins each in the shop and 12 to 14 coins each on the Grand Exchange. It is the counterpart of the iron crossbow in range bonus and damage inflicted. This is a weapon of choice for many Ranged combat pures because the crossbow and the bolts are cheap. NPC firing animations for the Dorgeshuun crossbow have been adjusted on 9 November 2009.
