Notes

• The play would open with Trevor Martin coming out, dressed as the Third Doctor, apparently having freshly regenerated. Jenny and Jimmy would rush from the audience to help him, then become his companions for the adventure.
• The main setting for this stage play was the planet Karn, Terrence Dicks reused the name of this planet in DW: The Brain of Morbius.
• The Play has been recreated by Big Finish as an audio drama.

Continuity

• The play opens with a regeneration sequence, establishing Trevor Martin as the Doctor. This fact places the play outside the canon of the television series.

Remake

In 2008, Big Finish Productions mounted a new audio version of the play for release on CD. Entitled Doctor Who: The Seven Keys to Doomsday, the release brought Trevor Martin back in the role of the Doctor.
