Princess Leia Organa

A diplomat was someone involved in diplomacy, the art and practice of conducting negotiations between representatives of groups or states. They were studious followers of politics and law. Some were devoted to free democracy. Others, like the Separitists senators, were more interested in their own needs. Jedi Master Adi Gallia's parents were noted Corellian diplomats.

Diplomats

They key role of any given diplomat is to simply keep up relations with other species, planets, and systems. Since there is an amazingly vast amount of species in the Star Wars universe, their role is a vital one.

Each planet has at least one Senator, a form of diplomat that partakes in meetings with the galactic senate. in some cases, there may be two or more senators from any given planet, such as Padame Amidala and Jar-Jar Binks from Naboo.
