The Destroyer, the Lord of Darkness and Eater of Worlds, was a horned demon summoned by Morgaine to aid in her conquest of the world. He was a highly dangerous entity, and even Morgaine was hesitant to release him. He was bound in silver, to which he had a vulnerability. He was able to destroy matter with a green energy and could also teleport.
During the final battle for Excalibur, Morgaine attempted to threaten Ace and Shou Yuing with the Destroyer, claiming they would become his handmaidens. Though he wanted to break through the chalk barrier, Morgaine didn't want to release him, allowing him access to his full powers. Despite this weakness, he was still able to destroy the hotel, allowing Morgaine to escape with the sword and then teleporting away. The Destroyer let the Doctor and the Brigadier follow them, since Morgaine would need to release him. When the Doctor gained the upper hand, Morgaine was forced to unchain the Destroyer and escaped.
The Destroyer planned to devour Earth, though the Brigadier did apparently kill him by shooting him with silver bullets. The Destroyer exploded with a green fire, destroying Morgaine's castle and knocking out the Brigadier. (DW: Battlefield)

A destroyer is a type of military starship intended to escort vessels in a fleet and defend them from attack, giving this type of vessel similarities with escort ships. Destroyers can be further classified as heavy destroyers.
Starfleet starship classes that fill this role include the Saladin class, Akula class, and Baker class.

The Destroyer is a police boat in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
The boat is designed as a small torpedo boat for the LCPD, designed to fire torpedoes at watercraft, and functions in tandem with the Coast Guard Launch as a pursuit vehicle when the player attains a high wanted level.
The boat's torpedo capabilities is unlimited, as the player can fire indefinite numbers of fast-loading torpedoes, while being capable of a relatively fast nautical speed, although its still requires a large turning radius as other large boats do. The boat's endurance is also substantially good, being able to survive up to five explosions before catching fire.
While the boat has no spawn points at docks. The boat is featured during "Torpedo Run", when the player must still one from a LCPD dock on the eastern shoreline of East Holland and destroyed a Zhouboat with it.

Destroyers are usually smaller, swift, long-endurance starships utilized to protect larger ships against enemy or hostile threats. They are usually lightly armed.
In 24th century Starfleet, the term "destroyer" was not favored, with the term "frigate" being used more often.
Cardassian destroyers were typically smaller then a cruiser but larger and more heavily armed then a frigate. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 2: Starships of the Cardassian Union)
Klingon destroyers were about the size of a frigate but their armaments were comparable to a cruiser. The Klingons also produced heavy destroyers which could have the firepower of a light warship. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 3: Ships of the Klingon Empire)
During the Dominion War Starfleet found that their heavy frigates were, in terms of capability, were comparable to destroyers used by hostile forces. (Spacedock: The Advanced Starship and Construction Manual)
The Romulan gunship classification was a equivalent to a destroyer. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 5: Starships of the Romulan Star Empire)
Destroyer was a formal designation usually reserved for the medium-sized warships in a fleet,[1] below that of cruiser and battleship.[2]
Often, these vessels were similar to small cruisers and could operate in flotillas or independently. Many classes were highly versatile and were capable of functioning as peacekeeping battleships in localized conflicts,[3] as well as being escorts for larger vessels.[1]
In some navies and eras, the destroyer was one of the largest capital ships in the fleet. Such was the case with the Sith Destroyers which served the Brotherhood of Darkness during the final stages of the New Sith Wars,[4] and the Fel Empire with its Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer.[5]
The term "Star Destroyer", although similar to "destroyer", did not necessarily indicate a destroyer-class ship and was used for a wide variety of warships.[6] Despite this, ships designated as Star Destroyers in the Galactic Empire were smaller than ships in its Navy designated Star Cruisers and Star Dreadnoughts.[7] Some Imperial documents also listed the Imperial-class Star Destroyer's ship type as "destroyer".[8]
The 150 meter long Adz-class destroyer was a small warship used for picket and patrol duties by the Imperial Remnant.
The Aggressor-class was the second-largest warship in the Zann Consortium forces and based on an Imperial design. It was armed with two large cannons to take out other warships.
The Bakura-class was built around the Imperial II-class reactor. Only three were known to have been built and participated in the First Corellian Insurrection conflict, on the side of the New Republic.
This was a Yuuzhan Vong warship used as an analog to the destroyers of the New Republic during the Yuuzhan Vong War.
The 500 meters long Gladiator-class was a small Star Destroyer design used to intimidate outlying systems in the Galactic Empire.
The 1,600 meter Imperial-class was the signature vessel of the Imperial Navy and was used to intimidate weaker systems into submission with its very presence. It was large enough to command fleets, and fast enough to hunt down blockade runners. Over 25,000 ships were built.
The 600 m Interdictor-class used by the Sith Empire under Darth Revan was alternatively referred to as a Sith Destroyer.[9]
This was a destroyer built by Kuat Drive Yards during the Imperial Period and might have been synonymous with other known classes.
The Lucrehulk-class was a fast warship used to protect merchant fleets in the Trade Federation and chase down blockade runners. It used the Lucrehulk-class Core Ship as a command core, like most other Federation warships and cargo vessels.
This type of Star Destroyer was larger and more powerful than the more well-known Imperial-class. At least one such type was produced by Kuat Drive Yards for decades.
The 1,040 meter Nebula-class was an expensive and powerful, compact New Republic design, made to overpower any other Star Destroyer class and even withstand some kind of Super Star Destroyer. This made the vessels very expensive and consequently few were built, although they aquitted themselves well in the Yuuzhan Vong War.
The Pellaeon-class was an advanced Star Destroyer that served as one of the most powerful classes in the galaxy around 100 years after the Battle of Endor. It used design elements found in both the Imperial II-class and the Executor-class Star Dreadnought.
The Providence-class was both a destroyer and a carrier, with a large central hangar located towards the stern of the vessel. General Grievous modified several vessels to carry even more vehicles and troops, and used one of them as his personal command ship, the Invisible Hand.
The Rebel fleet that attacked the second Death Star had some kind of destroyers in their arsenal.
The Recusant-class was a light destroyer design that was armed with heavy artillery for a ship of its size. They were mostly automated and hunted larger vessels in packs, but were often single-minded in their tasks, which opened them up for assault by enemy vessels.
The Rejuvenator-class fought in the Second Battle of Coruscant (Yuuzhan Vong War).
The Republic-class was a contemporary of the Nebula-class and dispersed through several New Republic task forces.
The Republic destroyer was a ship type in service with the Republic several centuries prior to the Great Sith War.
This was a destroyer design based on the Acclamator-class assault ship, that was conceived right after the opening battle of the Clone Wars.
The Sabaoth was the largest warship design of the Sabaoth Squadron, a mercenary fleet of warships. It participated in the run-up to the Clone Wars.
The Sith Destroyer was a ship-design used by the Brotherhood of Darkness during the final conflicts of the New Sith Wars. One such vessel, the Nightfall, served as Lord Kaan's flagship. The Interdictor-class cruiser was also referred to as a Sith Destroyer while in service of the Sith Empire of the Jedi Civil War, almost 1,500 years earlier.
The Storm Fleet destroyer was a warship built by KDY for the Separatist cause early in the Clone Wars. They were disguised as freighters to easily travel to their targets, unaligned worlds with resources coveted by the CIS movement. Destroyed by Republic forces, Kuat managed to evade prosecution for the treasonous act of building them.
The Tector-class was a Star Destroyer design that had no hangars. As such it was more protected than most other classes. Ships of this kind participated in the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War.
The Venator-class gained fame as command ships of Jedi Knights during the Clone Wars. They were primarily fighting ships, but also doubled as carriers, and had a long-running dorsal carrier deck, complete with armored doors. Future designs did away with this cumbersome solution.
The Victory-class was inspired by the Acclamator-class assault ship but had less carrier facilities than contemporary designs, like the Venator-class. Despite this, the class saw service in multiple governments.

Destroyers do not, as a rule, carry a spinal mount. They are thus not considered major combatants by the Imperial Navy, though their armament of bay and turret weapons can be formidable. Sizes range from 1,000- to 3,000-ton, with a general emphasis on maneuver rather than defense.
Although the Imperial Navy sees destroyer-class vessels as escorts, they are often pressed into service in other roles. Destroyers can thus be encountered operating solo or in squadrons. Missions include guardship, flag-showing, patrol and even strike against relatively soft targets. A destroyer is more than a match for any civilian vessel, but even squadrons should not take on major combatants.
