Destroy cast on the Emperor.

Destroy is a Black Magic spell exclusive to the 20th Anniversary Edition of Final Fantasy II.

The Destroy Tome is won by defeating Deumion in the Arcane Labyrinth. The player must select the "Destruction" keyword in order to fight him.

When used, Destroy is purported to only deal 10,000 damage to all enemies, since there has been reports of players using Destroy on their first move against the Emperor (which has 15,000 HP) and not killing him with it. [1] However, it also kills the caster's allies and leaves the caster with 1 HP and 0 MP. This spell is good for increasing maximum HP, maximum MP, and Stamina, although it is rather worthless, as is the player is strong enough to defeat Deumion, they likely have no reason to level up any further.

Several items that now can't be dropped before they were updated

Destroy is a feature in RuneScape for certain quest-related items, discontinued items and holiday drops that replaces the usual "Drop" option available to all other items. It most often applies to items which cannot be traded.

These items cannot be dropped, but may be picked up if a player has a full inventory upon receiving one. While in the inventory, they can only be destroyed. This option was most probably introduced by Jagex to prevent players from obtaining multiples of the same item. Before being destroyed, a text is shown as a final warning to players. When destroyed, these items may (or may not) be obtained again from the place where they were previous located. The only tradeable item with a destroy option is an impling jar with an impling trapped inside.

The destroy option was introduced with the Garden of Tranquility quest. Since then, Jagex has been updating many other items from previous quests to have destroy options. The explorer's ring 3, chicken feet, frog mask and Karamja gloves 1, 2 and 3 are now destroyed on death.

Most clothing holiday items, such as the Santa suit, the Warlock set, and the ghost costume, can be destroyed and retrieved from Diango in Draynor Village.

From Yu-Gi-Oh!

Destroying is way of sending cards to the Graveyard.

Cards can be destroyed by card effects, which explicitly use the word "destroy". When a monster is beaten in battle, it is considered destroyed as well.

When a card is destroyed, it is sent to the Graveyard, unless there is a Card on the Field that says otherwise.

Discarding, offering as a Tribute, directly removing a card from play or sending a card to the Graveyard are not the same as destroying a card.
