In Navarro, there is Xarn, an intelligent Deathclaw that Dr. Schreber is planning to have executed. The player can offer to take care of the deed for the doctor, and there are three ways to complete the quest.

• Kill Shreber, take the blue pass key from his desk, and free Xarn (1500 xp)
• Kill Xarn (1200 xp)

Actually the doctor might not fight after entering fight mode, so the pass key can be taken without killing him. Alternatively door can be opened with any blue pass key found in the game.

The third option is only available if the player plans to openly attack the Navarro troops. If the alarm has been activated when the player enters Xarn's room, he will ask them if they caused the commotion, and will offer to help the player "kick some Enclave ass". This recruits Xarn as a temporary NPC. When the player leaves Navarro, Xarn is considered freed and they receive 1500 xp.
