Dash, also known as Sprint, is an ability in the Final Fantasy series. When used, the party can run even faster usually.

Sprint is learned by the Thief job. When equipped, the user can run twice as fast on the overhead map but not on the world map.
The Sprint Shoes double the walking speed on the overhead map.
Dash is an ability usable by Zack in Crisis Core. When the appropiate Materia is equipped, the triangle button will cause Zack to run at high speed rather than using the block command.
Sprint is an ability that Vaan can learn that increases movement speed.

Dash was a member of the stormtrooper squad led by Sergeant Nova Stihl to respond to the prisoner breakout at Detention block AA-23 on Level 5 of the first Death Star.
This individual was first named in Death Star, although there is no indication which trooper he was, as depicted in A New Hope.
