The Crumb Bomber at the Battle of Florrum

Its nose art featured a Kowakian monkey-lizard wielding a bomb, with the inscription "Laugh This Off" in Aurebesh.

History

The Crumb Bomber was stationed on the Resolute during the hunt for the Malevolence. It was used to land Republic troops on Ryloth to retake the planet from Separatist forces. During the Battle of Ryloth, the Crumb Bomber was the gunship used by General Obi-Wan Kenobi to land on Ryloth's surface.

Behind the scenes

The name "Crumb Bomber" is likely a reference to Salacious B. Crumb, especially since an image of the character's species is depicted on the nose art. The name could also be a play on the slang expression "crumb bum," meaning a person with a negative attitude.

In the "Innocents of Ryloth" Episode Guide, the trivia states that the Crumb Bomber is Obi-Wan Kenobi's lead gunship.

The nose art is similar to the work seen on WW2 Bombers.
