Corio (also known as Kory) is a character from Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. He is an astronomer with his own giant telescope in Agart. He constantly observes the changes in the two moons in both games.

Story

Final Fantasy IV

Corio is at his telescope in Agart during the whole game. In the ending, he is surprised when he notices the Red Moon leaving the Earth's orbit.

During the final tale, Corio is startled to hear from his apprentice that the True Moon is moving in closer towards the Earth.

Trivia

In the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary remakes of the original Final Fantasy, Kory is one of the automatic names the player can choose for the Red Mage Job.
