When combined with sulfur to form copper sulfate it becomes a highly poisonous powder. When the copper sulfate is mixed with water, the copper sulfate forms into blue crystals, yet still has poisonous properties. (TOS novelization: The Naked Time).

From Grand Theft Wiki

A Copper in GTA London 1969.
A Copper in GTA London 1961.

The Copper is police car in Grand Theft Auto: London, 1969 and Grand Theft Auto: London, 1961, serving as the defacto car for the British police of the games' respectable eras.

Description

Design

Unlike more modern counterparts, the Copper is clearly designed with older sensibilities in mind, featuring police liveries of the 1960s that have long been obsolete in present time (such as the blue-white panda scheme during 1969 and the all-white color scheme in 1961), and featuring a single blue strobe on the roof.

Like their real-life counterparts, the Coppers in both London 1969 and London 1961 are apparently civilian cars converted for police use. The Copper in London 1969 is a slightly altered version of the S-Cart, while the Copper in London 1961 is based on the Jug MkII, mirroring common choices of car models by the British police at the time.

The name is a reference to an old British term for a police officer.

Performance

Being a police car, the Copper is designed to engage in vehicle pursuits rather well. While poorer overall in comparison to all Squad Car variants in GTA 1, both variants of the Coppers still remains on of the best among the car class in the London games in terms of performance.

In general, the car possess excellent top speed, acceleration, grip and the best brakes among all vehicles in the games, in addition to average handling; a Copper's base export value is also very high, at £1,500, but the car cannot be exported, as are other emergency vehicles. Minor differences may be noted between the Copper in London 1969 and the Copper in London 1961, including the London 1969 rendition being slightly lighter than the London 1961 rendition, as well as a slightly poorer acceleration for the London 1961 rendition.

Copper ore

Copper ore is an ore which can be smelted in a furnace along with a piece of tin ore to create a bronze bar. Copper ore, along with tin ore, are the first ores a player can mine using the Mining skill, and requires level 1 Mining.

Copper rocks can be found in various mines across RuneScape. Mining a copper ore grants 17.5 Mining experience for each ore mined. Copper along with Tin is Mainly not used for smithing beginners, as they prefer completing the The Knights Sword quest; An easy F2P quest that grants 12,725 Smithing experience, enough experience to increase a player's level 1 smithing to level 29 smithing. Copper ore was used for new merchanters, but no longer is because of the Grand Exchange update. Beginners mistake copper ore a "1st form" of a "copper bar", this is not true, as copper ore can only become a bronze bar with a smithing level of 1 and a tin ore. Making it a total of 158gp for a bronze bar. If a player buys tin and copper ore to make and sell a bronze bar, they will make 119gp profit. This is a slow method, but still good for beginners.

Smithing

A player can smelt copper ore into a bronze bar through the Smithing skill by using it on a furnace along with a tin ore, granting 6.25 Smithing experience. This requires level 1 Smithing. Bronze bars can then be used on Anvils with a Hammer to create Bronze items  (Some things may need more than 1 bar, such as a Battleaxe).

From SWG Wiki

Copper is a category of non-ferrous metal. It can be found as inorganic resource on all planets and moons in different types. It stands out due to its possibly high conductivity, malleability and overall quality. Copper can be surveyed and sampled with a mineral survey device or by placing a harvester for minerals on a copper concentration found with surveying.
