| Examine | The cape worn by the world's best chefs. |
| Weight | 1 kg |
The Cooking cape can be purchased for 99,000 coins from Head Chef at the Cooks' Guild by players who have achieved level 99 Cooking. It is the Cape of Accomplishment for the Cooking skill. Cooking capes are purple in colour, and have a red trim if the player has more than one level 99 skill.
Unknown to many players, this cape can be used to enter the Cooking Guild in place of a Varrock armour 3 or a Chef's hat. However, it does not allow banking as Varrock armour 3 does.
This is the second most common Cape of Accomplishment with just over 97,000 people having achieved 99 cooking (as of 25 December 2009). It is also considered one of the easiest Capes of Accomplishment to get. There are also 117 people who have 200,000,000 cooking experience in the game.
Cooking is widely considered to be the easiest skill cape to achieve as it only requires you to use the food with the fire, click cook all, then once the food in your bag is cooked you then bank the cooked food and withdraw more raw food, then repeat to 99. Cooking fish also gives 30 experience more than fishing the fish, so the experience is very fast as well as requires little amounts of effort.
The Cooking cape, along with the Fletching cape and the Firemaking cape are considered to be the easiest skill capes to obtain as the skills for these capes take the least money and time to get to 99.
