From The Vault
The Confederate Hat is a hat which is added to Fallout 3 with the Point Lookout add-on.
It grants 1 point to Perception and can be repaired with other Confederate Hats as well as Pre-war Baseball Caps.
Appearances
Confederate Hats appear only in the Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout.
Note
- The Confederate Hat has a very low item HP, meaning it requires repairs after nearly every firefight. However, they are rather common across Point Lookout, so repairs shouldn't be a problem.
Behind the scenes
It should be noted that it is a Confederate Army issue Kepi, which were popular during the American Civil War on both sides due to their relative coolness during summer heat, and warmth in winter. Point Lookout was a Union prisoner-of-war camp for Confederate soldiers.
