Contents

Background

He operates out of Fort Bannister, from the CO bunker, and is protected by crack Talon Company operatives. Unlike other Talon Co. NPCs, he wears Metal Armor and the Talon Combat Helmet for protection and uses a Missile Launcher in combat, falling back to a Chinese Pistol sidearm and his Occam's Razor combat knife for close combat.

Interactions with the player character

Jabsco is a hostile NPC. Fighting him is the only interaction possible.

At the beginning of the fight he will run to a computer and activate a Mr. Gutsy to assist him. He is supported by a pair of automated turrets in his lair, and a group of Talon Company Mercs will appear to help him.

Notes

  • Killing Commander Jabsco before completing the Take it Back! main quest may prevent the occurrence of a special encounter in the Broken Steel DLC, in which Paladin Jensen and a squad of Brotherhood of Steel Paladins launch an attack on the Talon Company forces around Fort Bannister.
  • Upon encountering Commander Jabsco, two to three Talon Mercenaries will spawn to assist him. They are comparatively short NPCs, and almost resemble children in size.

Appearances

Jabsco only appears in Fallout 3.
