Colu is a planet ruled by highly advanced machines. It is the birthplace of Vril Dox - the planetary conqueror known as Brainiac, and Querl Dox, a.k.a. Brainiac 5.

Colu was the primary of the Colu system. It was a large white A-type star that expanded and swallowed Clak'dor I in 8000 BBY.

Behind the scenes

Colu is also the name of a planet in Superman's comics. In it was born Vril Dox, who was killed by the planet's governors. His mind survived and later reborn on Earth inside Milton Fine's body and mind as "Brainiac", one of Man of Steel's most dangerous enemies.
