The Cleveland Indians were a professional baseball team based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

The team was established in 1901. In 1941, two pitchers playing for the Indians managed to break Joe DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak. (TNG episode: "The Big Goodbye")

The Cleveland Indians did not survive the subsequent fall of professional baseball on Earth in the mid 21st century and were disbanded. (DS9 episode: "If Wishes Were Horses")

The Cleveland Indians was a professional ice hockey team in Cleveland, Ohio, that played home games in the Elysium Arena. In 1929, the Kitchener Dutchmen International Hockey League (IHL) franchise was transferred to Cleveland. In the summer of 1934, the team was renamed the Cleveland Falcons. Subsequently, the team was renamed the Cleveland Barons, for the 1937–38 season. This franchise eventually led to the establishment of the Cleveland Barons and the Lake Erie Monsters, currently an AHL team.
