Clean tarromin is a grimy tarromin that has been cleaned. It is the third lowest level herb available. It is used in the Herblore skill.

Uses

Clean tarromin herbs have several uses:

• Strength potions = Clean tarromin + Limpwurt root + Vial of water (50 herblore experience, with a herblore level of 12)
• Serum 207s = Clean tarromin + Ashes + Vial of water (50 herblore experience, with a herblore level of 15)
• Tarromin tar = Clean tarromin + 15 Swamp tar + pestle and mortar (55 herblore experience, with a herblore level of 39)

Trivia

• Because of the high price of Limpwurt roots, making strength potions is not a cost effective way to train herblore. Instead, many players who have done the Shades of Mort'ton quest choose to make Serum 207 with them. After the quest, they can still be used on the Afflicted for random rewards one of which is the primary ingredient tarromin, but it gives just as much experience as making a strength potion and uses only ashes as a second ingredient.
• Due to the high cost to low yield ratio that tarromin provides, both in exp and in monitary returns, it is often considered one of the most useless herbs, and hence is largely discarded by any experienced player.
