The Chariot-class was a type of starship in service to the Federation Starfleet in the 23rd century. They were first commissioned in 2197 and served as transports and tugs, capable of attaching to other items and towing them about. (Spaceflight Chronology)
The ships were 165 meters long and weighed 45,500 metric tonnes. With a crew of 24, they used fourth generation warp drives as propulsion. Vessels of this class saw action during the Four Years War between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. (RPG reference: The Four Years War)

The Chariot class is a standard Imperial System Defense Boat design. Hundreds are in service with the planetary navies of the industrial worlds of Lunion and Strouden in the Spinward Marches alone.
While the fuel supply is sufficient to allow thirty days of operation at maximum power, it is more often stretched to provide 75 days of operation at 40% power, enough for 1-G maneuver and full life support. If operated in life support and passive sensor only mode, as with a loiter operation during an enemy attack on the system, only one percent of the power capacity is required. This would allow the vessel to wait up to 4375 days between fuelings—which is to say, as long as necessary.
Armament of the Chariot is two triple beam laser turrets, three triple missle launcher turrets, and one triple sandcaster turret, each as an individual battery. Targeting is provided by a model-7 computer.
The Chariot also carries a 30-ton ships boat, a launch used for refueling and resupply while on active duty.
