Cerberus is a genus of the Beast family introduced in Final Fantasy XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan. Their hides, claws, and meat can be put to good use by tradesmen. Cerberus are such powerful enemies that every species is a Notorious Monster.

Special attacks

  • Gates of Hades: Powerful 20' AoE Fire damage and Burn effect. Used only at 25% health or lower.
  • Lava Spit: Short AoE Fire damage.
  • Magma Hoplon: Stoneskin & Blaze Spikes effect.
  • Scorching Lash: Heavy damage AoE attack triggered when someone gets hate from behind.
  • Sulfurous Breath: Breath Attack Fire damage.
  • Ululation: 20' AoE Paralyze.
