History

Carlotta Rivera, alias Jolt is a member of the Blasters capable of generating her own force field. She gained her powers during the events of Invasion! when testing from the super-scientist Dominators caused her latent abilities to develop under duress. Along with many other humans, she was placed into a gauntlet of death which only she and five others survived... Snapper Carr, Amos Monroe, Dexter Fairfax and Fritz Klein and Moshe Levy.^[1] After escaping from the brutal Starlag, the group joined the rest of Earth's heroes in fighting against the Alien Alliance responsible for taking them prisoner. They became a team, adventuring together as the Blasters, named after the trial by fire through which they got their powers.^[2]

• Force Field: Carlotta Rivera's metahuman abilities allow her to generate a gravi-magnetic field that will repel anything near her skin, even water and oxygen.
