Burst II is a Merit ability found in Final Fantasy XI. As such, it is only available to players who have reached level 75, and even then, only to those who play as Black Mages. When cast, the spell will deal Lightning-based elemental damage to an enemy and decrease its resistance to Earth-elemental attacks and spells. It may be recast every 90 seconds for 287 MP. Further Merit upgrades will increase both the Magic Burst damage and Magic Accuracy.
