Brewster, also known as "the Guru," is a wise-looking, bearded fellow seen primarily in the first season of The Muppet Show and its two pilots, The Muppets Valentine Show and The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence. He was also featured in One to One with Julie Andrews and appeared in the audience of the Muppet Theater during the show's later seasons.

The Brewster puppet is notable for his very movable eyelids.
