Brawling gloves are members-only drops obtained in PvP worlds released on 15 October 2008. The gloves disintegrate after a certain amount of experience has been gained. Brawling gloves increase the experience gained while training on PvP worlds. They will also stack with Sacred Clay items to give a 8x bonus to experience. However, this only makes the Brawling gloves last half as long, giving the same exact amount of experience overall just twice as fast. There are 13 different types of brawling gloves:

• Melee

• Magic

• Ranged

• Agility

• Cooking

• Firemaking

• Fishing

• Hunter

• Mining

• Prayer

• Smithing

• Thieving

• Woodcutting

Bonuses

The players receive 50% (1.5x normal xp) bonus to any experience gained in the skill which the glove represents, anywhere on a PvP World. This bonus increases to 300% (4x normal xp) while in the Wilderness, so NOT in hotzones (unless they are in the wilderness of course). They are untradeable and can only be obtained as a drop in a Bounty world.

Trivia

• The gloves match the base colour of the Skillcape of the corresponding skill, except the melee gloves which are the same shade of red as the Attack cape.
• Crafting, Runecrafting, Construction, Summoning, Slayer, Farming, Herblore and Fletching are the only skills without corresponding gloves.
