The Brainpan is an enemy in the game Final Fantasy VI. Their special, Smirk, inflicts the Stop status, which is a hassle on the Floating Continent. Also, they use 1000 Needles when they are alone, which is unblockable, always does 1,000 HP of damage to one target, and ignores Defense. This is lethal at this stage of the game. To top it all off, Brainpans often attack in groups. If they are accompanied by other enemies, they should be the first to be taken out. If they attack in a group of just Brainpans, Shadow should throw Fire Scrolls or Lightning Scrolls. Also, Locke can steal Earrings from them, which are very useful.
