Their slogan is "Seattle's most mysterious label", and their address is listed as "17 Library St., Binding, USA". Not much is known about this label, other than that they seem to release a lot of things by members and friends of The Young Fresh Fellows and The Fastbacks.
A Book is collection of words and/or images printed on sheets of paper bound together along one edge with covers on the front and back. Books can contain any kind of information, literature, both fact and fiction and pictorial in the form of diagrams, artwork or comic strips. More recently some books have done away with paper all together and been published electronically.

Ancient Bajorans treated their printed works in way that made them extremely long lasting, as a result in the 24th century Bajoran books thousands of years old could be found in better condition than stone tablets just hundreds of years old. (DS9 novel: Avatar)
With the growth of PADDs and more integrated computer systems, books in the traditional form were quite uncommon in the days of the Federation. Fact and fiction prose publications did still occur commonly in electronic forms though and it was not unheard of for individuals to keep a more traditionally created version of a particular prized work, for instance, Captain Jean-Luc Picard kept a copy of the complete works of William Shakespeare. (TNG episode: "Hide and Q")
In the 24th century the Tigans had not officially had a written history for centuries, instead keeping all data on the Tigan central computer. However this was not the case, a large library of books did exist but was hidden from public knowledge so that politicians might alter data in the central computer with no physical reference for the Tigans to be any the wiser. (TNG comic: "History Lesson")

Books, also known as Dictionaries, are a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series.
Contents |
In Final Fantasy III, Books can only be equipped by Scholars. All of them have elemental affinities and boost the damage dealt through the use of items with correspondent elemental effect (except for the ultimate weapon of this kind, which simply boosts the use of items). They also grant bonuses to Mind and Intellect.
List of Books:
While not literally an equipped weapon, the Grimoire is the core of the Scholar's abilities.
Appearing in the original version as Dictionaries, Books are used by the Mystic, Arithmeticians, and Onion Knight Job classes.
List of Books:
Books are the weapons used by Seers and Scholars. Despite being a one-handed weapon, they cannot be Dual Wielded. Also, two of these books are artefacts in Final Fantasy Tactics (the Veil of Wiyu and Enavia Chronicles).
List of Books:
Books as weapons appear for the first time in the Crytal Chronicles series, usable only by Yukes.

Book could refer to:
Book is the name of two items in RuneScape, namely:
It may also refer to real world items:
A book was an ancient physical means of data collection and preservation composed of sheets that were bound together with a protective cover. The sheets of a book, the individual sides of which were referred to as pages, could contain printed, written or illustrated information. In some cases, all of the pages within a book were intentionally left blank so that its owner could record his or her own information within it for professional or private reasons.
With the advent of more advanced means of collecting and preserving data, books eventually became obsolete. Books took up more space, were less portable and less accessible than electronic media. Over time, the number of sentient beings who used books or knew of their purpose declined considerably. However, the Chiss Ascendancy favored using books to archive data, rather than electronic means because Csilla's ice storms caused the loss of a significant amount of information that had been stored using the latter method.

There are many books in Tibia. Their content range all from just a title, to clues for quests, to full length stories spawning more than just one book. You can usually find books in libraries in towns, but sometimes also near ruins of old houses, in dead trees or barrels out in the wilderness. These do often have a clue for a quest or how to find a place, item or key.
There is also a type of book that is magical. They are called spellbooks. The magic thing about them is that their content changes depending on who is reading it. The content always tells which spells the person reading it knows and some information about them.
Some types of empty books that you can write in can be bought in shops, others can only be found as loot from certain creatures. Note that some writeable items are not books (see Documents and Papers).
