The Bonesack is a large brown sack worn in the cape slot. It is a reward from completing the second half of the Rag and Bone Man quest. This item has fairly good stats compared to most capes and is therefore a good choice for protection. Contrary to popular belief it does not store bones. It can be switched for a Ram skull helmet by talking to the Rag and Bone Man again. This item can be enchanted to a Bonesack(e) after completing the Fur 'n' Seek wishlist.

Trivia

  • The bonesack's examine info is a reference to the song "Love Shack" by the B-52s.
  • The bonesack on the Odd Old Man is able to communicate with him. However, this is not the case for the player's bonesack.
  • The bonesack's icon (File:bonesack icon old.png) and appearance was updated with the release of the quest Fur 'n' Seek.
  • In addition to the Odd Old Man`s bonesack the player`s bonesack doesn`t have a small hole in the back of it.
  • The "talking" bonesack may be a reference to the Grimm fairy tale "Little Klaus and Big Klaus", in which only little Klaus is able to "communicate" with a sack containing his grandmother's bones.
  • It is used by some players who are pretending to be Santa as a substitute for a bag of toys.
