Bone, born 2258^[1], is a Pitt Raider who watches slaves in The Mill in the year 2277.

Daily schedule

As said above, she stays in the mill watching over the slaves, and watches the arena fight from above.

She is usually rude to the player. When the player completes the arena, she may have comments about the fights.

• Commented on being 'hot' by Jackson.
• She is one of the few Pitt Raiders that respects you for being in the Arena.
• She can apparently be enslaved. The process can be buggy (she doesn't actually have the audio files available for enslavement) and afterwards, she merely stands around and smokes like any other NPC. However Paradise falls still counts it as a legitimate capture.
• Bone will immediately flee for her life as soon as the slave uprising begins, instead of helping the other Raiders fight the slaves. The rebelling slaves will often chase her down and kill her if the other Pitt Raiders don't kill them first.

Bones are the remains of the dead, which are used in the Prayer skill. They are dropped by almost all monsters around RuneScape. Bones give 4.5 Prayer experience when buried; you can also find them from gravemarkers from people who have died. Players may also use the spell Bones to Bananas or the spell Bones to Peaches to turn bones to edible bananas or peaches.

Bones areas

Areas with enemies that spawn quickly after death, such as the goblin area in Lumbridge, are great places to collect bones easily without much hassle. This gives players the chance to level up their prayer fast. Another area where bones can be easily found and collected is outside Lumbridge Castle, in Edgeville Dungeon at the hill giants, in the Yak field in Neitiznot, and the Chaos Temple on PVP worlds.

Although many players do not bury bones, and instead leave them on the ground, it is recommended that players do bury the bones a monster drops, as they will get some experience in the Prayer skill.

Players can sometimes receive Bones as a reward from the Soul Wars minigame, by selecting the Gamble option, which may award a player up to 290 bones.

Training

The best place to collect Bones without having to kill monsters is the Chaos Temple.

Other good areas include the chicken coop and cow field in near Lumbridge, crowded areas like the Al-Kharid, and the Stronghold of Security. Also, the yak field of Neitiznot is usually strewn with bones, among the yak's other drops.

Another good method would be training Hunter. All Birds and Kebbits drop Bones, therefore training 2 skills at a time. While waiting for the traps in Feldip Hills, a player can also take a hatchet for the local Achey trees and tinder box to train Woodcutting and FireMaking at the same time.. 4 skills at once.

Trading

Trading for bones is not recommended (although when sold in groups of 24 at the Grand Exchange, they can sell for about 2k), as bones are extremely common and can be found at almost every location - players can either find them on the ground (left behind by players who have killed creatures and did not bother to pick up the bones), or they can kill NPCs and collect the bones.

Unlike the prices of many other raw materials, bones have steadily increased in price on the Grand Exchange: starting at 26 coins and currently at 139. This is most likely due to the discrepancy in price and experience between bones and big bones, with big bones priced at 622 coins each while yielding only three times the Prayer experience.

Trivia

• In RuneScape Classic the examine text for bones is "Ew, it's a pile of bones." This still applies to Big Bones.
• During the minigame Soul Wars there is no drop option for bones, but a destroy one. If you press destroy then it will say you can get more from killing opposing team members.
• From level 1 to level 99, a player would have to bury 2,896,541 bones at 139 coins per bone that comes to a staggering 402,619,199 coins.
• Bones are one of the items that are dropped 100% of the time from most monsters.
• Surprisingly, rats in the Stronghold of Security drop bones, while rats everywhere else in RuneScape do not. It is unknown if Jagex meant for this to happen or if this is a glitch.
• Bones can be buried even when not over proper ground. For example, they can be buried when standing on a dock.
• Bones have skyrocketed in prices.

On the other hand, Bone is still needed in armor production. Avian Bone is needed for tantel, regular bone for bone armor. OQ and SR counts.
