Bombs, also known as Explosives, are a type of weapon that occur in multiple Final Fantasy games.

Appearances

Final Fantasy VII

An explosive is used by Cid Highwind in his Dynamite Limit Break. Other types of explosives can be used as items.

Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII-

The legendary Turk uses bombs as his main weapons.

Final Fantasy VIII

Laguna Loire uses a hand grenade in his Desperado Limit Break.

Final Fantasy X

Rikku uses various types of hand grenades during battle with her Use command, and can construct more powerful explosives with her Overdrive, Mix.

Final Fantasy X-2

The Alchemist uses various types of grenades within battle and has the ability to mix them with other items to form a new weapon.

Final Fantasy XI

There are a number of various grenades that can be used as a Throwing weapon; most can be crafted with alchemy. Additionally, the Goblins' signature move is Bomb Toss, which can be learned as Blue Magic.

Ninjas can throw explosives at enemies.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest

The protagonist, Benjamin, can use bombs in combat or to solve puzzles. Bombs are the only type of weapon that hit all enemies, and they also do not grow in strength based on Benjamin's Attack power.
