The Bluesang is a Trophy Rare Game enemy in Final Fantasy XII. If the player is trying to get the Tournesol, the Bluesang is one the earlier and easier sources of one required Bazaar ingredient, Gemsteel. If the Bluesang is killed without stealing the six required Damascus Steel for Gemsteel, that loot is much harder to come by later in the game. The player can easily acquire the Damascus Steel stealing the item once, exit two areas and repeating the process, until six Damascus Steel are obtained.

Note: The Bluesang does not reappear after being killed. You can only use the strategy mentioned if you do not kill the monster. If you kill it, you have to acquire the Damascus Steel by other means.
