Final Fantasy V was the first Final Fantasy to use Blue Magic, magic that is learned from enemies. Blue Magic comes in a variety of different forms, from offensive spells to positive buffs. Some of the most useful spells are Blue Magic.

The following is a list of Blue Magic from Final Fantasy V. All enemy names in italics are enemies that must be controlled by a Beastmaster and "forced" to attack for the Blue Mage to be able to learn the skill from them, or be confused into casting spells onto the Blue Mage (only applicable to self-helping skills, or in certain cases, with the help of Reflect). All enemy names in Bold are enemies that must be given MP to use Blue Magic.
