Elmo's Blanket is featured prominently in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Elmo is devoted to his blue blanket, who appears in the opening scenes as a sentient being, dancing and playing with his owner, and later as a prop.
A blanket was a large piece of fabric used for bedding, warmth, and protection from environmental elements. Blankets could be made from many different materials, including hair and animal fur,[1] such as bantha[2], grov,[3] and taun-taun fur.[4]
