Big Bird's Square Meal is a 1988 Sesame Street storybook containing two short stories.

• "Big Bird's Square Meal": Granny Bird comes to visit Big Bird for a picnic, with Cookie Monster and Elmo. During their picnic, they learn about shapes from the various items in their meal.

• "Who Ever Heard of a Purple Puppy?": Ernie and Bert decide to draw pictures on a rainy morning. Bert draws a pigeon, while Ernie draws a picture of a purple puppy against a pink sky with a yellow tree. Bert tries to teach Ernie the real colors, but then sees a purple puppy himself.
