The Doctor once claimed to have met Franklin and worked with him the night he discovered static electricity. Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin was a male Human diplomat, statesman, inventor and writer in the 18th century in the United States of America on Earth.

While trapped in the 31st century with Temporal Cold War agent Daniels, Jonathan Archer compared his efforts to understand Daniels' technology to Franklin trying to understand a 22nd century medical scanner. (ENT novelization: Shockwave)

Benjamin Franklin was one of the historical figures recreated by Alexander Lazarus on planet Gamma Alpha V. (TOS comic: "The Legacy of Lazarus")

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) was a scientist, printer, statesman, humorist, and one of the most familiar of America's founding fathers. His innovations include the lightning rod, the Franklin stove, and forming the first public lending library and fire department in America. As a diplomat, Franklin served as ambassador to France, where he became a beloved celebrity, and was crucial in garnering that nation's aid during the American Revolution.
